Tell us a bit about your career.

I’ve been in the industry on the sales side of things for over 30 years. I’ve been a Sales Person, Manager, Owner and Vice President of Sales within 2 industries: Commercial Furniture and Business Insurance. Having interacted with business owners and C-Suite Executives for most of my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to sit at the table of decision makers and have learned a lot along the way.

Kevin and I worked together years ago, and we stayed in touch along our career journeys. Seeing how Furngully has been crushing it, I was really excited to reconnect with him and dive back into the industry and join his team.

What’s a fun fact about yourself?

I’m a chameleon. I can literally get along with everyone in any sort of situation. I grew up without a lot of prosperity around me, so I think that really contributes to that. I’m also an avid outdoors person: I love to cycle, kayak, and paddle board. I really just love to be on the water or by the ocean.

What drew you to Furngully and the Commercial Furniture and Design industry?

The personalized service and attention to detail is what really stuck with me when Kevin described his vision to provide the best customer experience in the industry. In my previous roles, there have been times where solutions and clients would be put in a ‘box’ and have to follow a rigid structure. The flexibility within the Commercial Furniture industry that Furngully is providing was incredibly appealing to me. I’m really passionate about creating unique spaces tailored to what a client really wants and needs. One of our main goals at Furngully is to help them build a culture they and their employees can be proud of.

For Furngully specifically, aside from the creativity, the software we use is really spectacular. From design boards to client relationship management to project management, everything that’s organizational focused and forward-facing is really incredible. Furngully is really changing the game and bringing it to a new level of client satisfaction.

What’s your favorite part of your new role at Furngully?

I love finding solutions for clients and interacting with them and building relationships. A lot of the time within the sales industry, people don’t understand the importance and vitality of communication. That interaction and extra effort with the client builds a level of trust that is invaluable. I’ve really challenged myself through the years to preach that and continue to educate myself.

You don’t get a pat on the back or a gold star for going the extra mile, but when you earn that level of trust, you create a customer relationship that lasts. It’s incredibly rewarding.

What makes you excited about the Future of Commercial Furniture and Design?

The innovative technology and software we use systematically is incredibly exciting. Also, with Furngully, our process is second to none. Every step in the process is rooted in open communication from design to color selection to order tracking to the installation. We have everything covered. I’m excited to see how our process continues to develop and shape the industry.

What are your goals as the Vice President of Sales at Furngully?

I want to continue to develop our process and build meaningful relationships with our clients. We’re really in growth mode right now and I want to be able to present the level of trust and value that we have on the back-end. Our technology along with our drive and determination gives us a great advantage to create more volume and revenue.

What’s your favorite quote?
